NTAF & US Forces

Ever since the end of the civil war between Old government and New Papelnian Front, both US and NTAF forces have conducted a number of coordinated operations, taking down last pockets of resistance, clearing roads and public areas from IEDs, Mines and other dangers.
“Cooperation with the US forces have proven to be a great military experience gain for our forces.” – states Captain Mateo of NTAF (New Tierno Armed Forces).
Captain Jefferson, gave an extensive interview (read page 14) about future plans with NTAF. For example, in 2021 both forces plan to conduct a series of training programs and prepare both forces for rapid deployment within the area.

A NEW ERA OF PIRATES?

With the establishment of new governments in both, Tierno and Papelonia, European and American business finally found an opportunity to kickstart their business here.
After countless hours of negotiations, both Papelonia and New Tierno finally join ITCM, an international trade committee. Commitment to this world-wide organization allows Papelonia and Tierno ports to be used for transit.
Financial analysts already declared a positive grow by the end of this financial year. Such proficit will allow governments of both countries to repair infrastructure, which has been damaged after a fierce fight between old regimes and US forces.
Despite such positive forecast, reports of tankers and other cargo vessels being raided by the pirates, increase by each day. This causes a wave of concern not only amongst the businessmen but also the governments and ITCM members.
So far, majority of the tankers managed to fight off the pirates by using services of PMCs (such as Black Beards, Faceless, etc) but also by using special equipment to disallow pirates from boarding their vessels. (Water hoses as an example).
Unfortunately, not all companies are able to outfit their vessels with such counter-measures or hire mercenaries and PMCs for extra security.
ITCM has already declared an emergency gathering to discuss this arising issue.
