About

Nord News

Nord News was founded in 1976 Helsinki, Finland and originally was named “Daily Dose” with a principle of releasing newspapers on a daily basis with small doses of everyday information of what was happening in Finland. In 1978 Daily Dose expanded its articles coverage onto Sweden and USSR as part of a contract agreement with the government of Finland.

Up until 1988 Daily Dose was primarily covering only Scandinavian related news until USSR involvement in the Afghan conflict. Since then, Daily Dose began to cover world-wide news, expanding its news network and sending out war correspondents to receive first-hand and unaltered news over military conflicts.

In 2019 Daily Dose was actively publishing articles about New Tierno conflict. It is when one of its most experienced correspondents, James Norrington, managed to squeeze out an exclusive permission to follow one of the most elite US forces and feed our news network with first-hand experienced military conflicts around the globe. Daily Dose was renamed to Nord News in 2021 due to philosophical policy changes within the company. Despite this rebranding, we decided to keep old articles under the old brand for the sake of history preservation of our company.
